What is Labyrinth BJJ Foundations?

Foundations is our dedicated kids-only, beginners-only academy. It's designed for children ages 3-12 who are just starting their martial arts journey. We focus on building a strong foundation in BJJ fundamentals, coordination, discipline, and confidence.

How is Foundations different from the main Labyrinth BJJ academy?

Our main academy serves all ages and all skill levels — from beginners to elite competitors training for Pan Ams and Worlds. Foundations is exclusively for kids beginners (0-3 years experience). Once your child develops a solid foundation, they can transition to the main academy's competition track.

What ages do you accept?

We have classes for ages 3-6 and ages 7-12. Each age group has its own dedicated class times with age-appropriate instruction.

Does my child need experience to start?

Not at all — that's the whole point of Foundations. Every class is designed for beginners. Your child's first class is always free.

What is TLMMA?

TLMMA stands for Team Labyrinth Mixed Martial Arts. It's our structured kids MMA program that combines striking fundamentals with grappling in a safe, supervised environment. Kids wear MMA uniforms (not a gi) for these classes.

What should my child wear to class?

For BJJ classes: a gi is required (loaner gis available for trial classes). For No-Gi classes: rash guard and shorts or athletic wear. For MMA classes: MMA uniform (details provided at registration).

What is the presale pricing?
